Obituary for Margaret J. Thacker

Mrs. Margaret J. Thacker, age 76, and a resident of Mayfield, passed away at 8:10 P.M. Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah. She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith. She is survived by three daughters; Susan and the late Gary Govern, Murray, Sherry and husband Micheal Reagan, West Paducah, Patricia and husband Shane Seay, Hickory, three sons; Doug and wife Shannon Thacker, Louisville, Donnie and wife Beth Thacker, Henderson, KY, John and wife April Thacker, Wingo, KY., one sister; Bonnie Bombrake, Pikeville, KY., twenty three grandchildren and forty great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband – Donald Thacker; parents – Ersel & Maudie (Robinette) Williamson; and two sisters – Wanda Griffith and Vivian James. Funeral services for Mrs. Thacker will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Micheal Reagan officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be; Donnie Thacker, Jr., Daniel Thacker, Zach Thacker, Eddie Thacker, Kaleb Seymour, Austin Seay, Eli Thacker and Cole Thacker. Friends are invited to call from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. Following the service there will be a graveside burial at Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray Ky.
